2lines is a private, on-device photo utility that helps you review line visibility from a photo. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose pregnancy or interpret test results.

Getting started
- Open 2lines and complete the first-time onboarding screens.
- On the Line Checks tab, tap the camera button or choose a photo from your library.
- Align the result window in the guided screen.
- Place one or two line markers over the areas you want reviewed.
- Review the result and save it to your private on-device history if you wish.
You can also use the Edit image tab to adjust visibility with on-device filters and image tools.
Common issues
- Camera access denied: Open iOS Settings → 2lines → enable Camera.
- Cannot choose a photo: Open iOS Settings → 2lines → enable Photos.
- Cannot save an edited image: Open iOS Settings → 2lines → allow Photos access, including permission to add images if prompted.
- Blurry or unclear result: Use soft, even lighting, keep the test flat, center the result window in the guide, and hold your phone steady. See Settings → Help taking a photo in the app for more tips.
- App says the photo is unclear: Retake the photo with better lighting, less glare, and the result window centered in the alignment guide.
Frequently asked questions
Does 2lines diagnose pregnancy?
No. 2lines provides camera-assisted line visibility analysis only. It reports what line-like signals appear visible in a photo. Always follow your test manufacturer’s instructions to interpret what the lines mean.
Do I need an account?
No. 2lines does not require sign-in or account creation.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. Photos, analysis results, and notes are processed and stored locally on your iPhone. The app does not upload your content for processing.
How do I delete a saved check?
Open the saved check from the Line Checks tab, then delete it from the result screen. You can also delete all saved checks from Settings → Delete all photos.
What happens if I delete the app?
Removing the app deletes app-managed local data, including saved checks, analysis, and notes. Copies you explicitly saved to the iPhone photo library remain in Photos until you delete them there.
Which languages are supported?
2lines supports English and Spanish based on your device language settings.
Does the app work on iPad?
2lines is designed for iPhone. iPad is not currently supported as a release target.
